From Richard Corrigan’s arty venture to Max Rocha’s breakfast of champions, here are some of the hottest Irish-influenced tables to book in London...

Occupying a former bookies in Hackney, Shankey’s is a joint venture between Dubliner Eoghan Shankey, who has a bartending and FOH background, and chef Sacha Henry, who is Indian and trained originally at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, offering Irish-inspired cocktails and Indian food. The food menu is succinct and served to share, while the cocktail list focuses on Irish spirits, with twists on classics placing Irish whiskeys, gins and vodkas to the fore. Last year, Time Out featured Shankey’s signature Spuds ’n’ Butter cocktail (an Irish take on a margarita, using poitín and Kerrygold butter) as its St Patrick’s Day cocktail. @shankeys.hackney
