Maxus adds two new electric models to expanding Irish line-up

Company taking orders now for August delivery

​Maxus is adding to its portfolio here with the unveiling of the new Mifa 7 people carrier and eDeliver 5 electric light commercial vehicle (LCV).

The Mifa 7 follows the Mifa 9 into the Irish market.

With its 90kWh battery, it claims a 410km WLTP combined distance on a single charge. It is quite roomy at 4,907mm long; 1,885mm wide; 1,756mm tall; and has a 2,975mm wheelbase. Maxus claims the seven-seater has the best internal width ratio in its class.

Potential buyers include families, taxi drivers, executive chauffeurs, hotels and hospitality providers.

It has electric sliding doors, large panoramic sunroof and integrated cruise assist.

Meanwhile, the eDeliver 5 has a 64kWh battery and a claimed range of 335km and a 1,200kg payload.

Key spec includes adaptive cruise control and lane keep assistance, 360-degree surrounding camera and rear sensor, and speed limit ID system.

The cars can be ordered now for August delivery. No word on price yet.
