‘How many more Livelines must be consumed by the GAAGO scandal before there is justice?’

Gaelic games would not be my first love, or even my second love, which means I am uniquely placed to assess the latest GAAGO scandal – and scandal it truly is. Because I can view these issues with a certain detachment, I am not overly influenced by tribal or other such dangerous emotions.

Even then, it disturbs me enough to empathise fully with every one of the angry people who were talking about it to Katie Hannon on Liveline (RTÉ1, weekdays, 1.45.pm). Not for the first time, this GAAGO scandal has got to the Liveline stage. And not for the last time, I’ll warrant.
