‘Pfizer is a great place to work because of our purpose — and our purpose is breakthroughs that change patients’ lives. In 2023 we impacted the lives of more than 618 million people around the globe. So it’s very easy for our colleagues to want to come to work, and to drive that purpose forward, because what we do really matters. It matters to patients, their families and friends and the greater communities we serve.

Annually we have what is called Patients in Focus Week. Patients are at the centre of what we do every day, but one week of the year we work with patients and advocacy groups more specifically. Every colleague knows the effect they are having on patients — whether they are in research and development, discovering and developing medicines and vaccines, or if they are in finance, and doing things to make sure supply is getting to patients, or in commercial where they are working with customers.
