BEST Mýkonos seafront locatation with private (!) beach, STUNNING architecture, more pools than any other hotel I know of in Mykonos (have been to Mýkonos 27 times, have visited or stayed in almost all 5-Star properties, have researched all of them for *years*), warm-hearted service by staff that exceeds all expectations of Greece’s famed hospitality, 2 PRIVATE villas (3 bedrooms, living room, best shower ever, dreamy jacuzzi, round movie-like huuuge bed with beachfront infinity pool (!), ALL (SPACIOUS!) ROOMS and common areas decorated with AMAZING artworks and rare antiques, (think Philip Stark meets Sotheby’s) Bulgari toiletries and softest-ever robes, swim-up (!) pool bar, KILLER cocktails and food, seaside deck for candlelit dinners for 2 (!!!), Guest Relations majordomo Christina Paganou knows everything/everyone Mýkonos and helps all guests (not just the super-famous ones who frequent Kivotos) plan even the most outrageously chi-chi OR simple things just-so, HANDS-ON owners who CARE and are around all day and night long (till past midnight!) to PROACTIVELY ensure we LOVE every minute of our stay, and (cherry on top!) PRIVATE WOOD ÜBER-LUX YACHT for sunset cruises or island-hopping galore! AND, all the little things done right, with panache to spare: the lighting! Service (even by cleaning staff!) always with a genuine smile, Porcshe Cayenne transport even at all times of the night, WATER-TAXI service to remote beaches or wherever (!), just seee my Sept 2018 Instagram feed @sjhatzi for *proof* of it all!
Cons. LOVE LOVE LOVE ALL OF KIVOTOS! One of the magical boutique hotels and Architectual Digest spots that totally live up to what we all hope and dream of when visiting Greece and its gorgeous islands of which Mýkonos is their undisputed queen (been to all the famous ones and tons of the lesser known ones), just come!
