The said Indigo flight was scheduled to depart from Varanasi Airport at 3 am on Monday however the 200-odd passengers who arrived at the airport as early as 1 am on Monday were in for a shock when their flight was cancelled at the airport at the last moment

New Pune airport terminal enhances passenger capacity, reflection of local culture

The existing terminal building with a built-up area of only 22,000 sqm can handle up to seven million passengers per year. While the new terminal is more than 52,000 sqm and has a capacity of nine million passengers per annum to cater to increasing air traffic
