How to Cancel Free Trial on Google Cloud Platform

Hi everyone,

I recently created a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) account using my institutional email under the free trial mode. However, I've now received a voucher that I would like to use instead.

Could someone guide me on how to cancel the free trial and remove the associated payment methods so I can utilize the voucher I've received?

Hello @Ke16  ,Welcome on Google Cloud Community.

1. Log in to your Google Cloud
2. Go to Billing => Select Billing -> Account Management
3. Click CLOSE BILLING ACCOUNT

4. You will get text similar to this one

5. Type "Close" and click CLOSE BILLING ACCOUNT
6. Then go to Payment method -> Find your payment method -> Remove
