“People say they want to read about life but that's not what they want at all. They want a version of life. Don't you realize, someone else's version of someone else's life is still fiction? It's still a story. But it has no imagination. That's what you people have done. You've murdered imagination.”
Andersen Prunty, The Driver's Guide to Hitting Pedestrians

“Even the silences seemed infused with a secret knowledge. We held hands as we walked around the moon and it felt right and it felt good. I had never felt anything like that before.”
Andersen Prunty, Zerostrata

“And you walk or wheel to this place here when you feel sad? On your walks? Or wheels? This is a sad place. More sadder it could turn you.”
Andersen Prunty, Zerostrata

Matthew Vaughn Thanks for the add, I'm @edkemper on the twitter who recently wrote a shoddy review of the Sorrow King. I loved that book and am wanting to check out another from you, just have to finish a couple books so I can justify to the missus that I need to buy a new book.

Hi Andy. How's things in Dayton? Fantastic, I hope. I better get my ass into gear and get me copies of Overwhelming Urge and TNTMMAS and get reviewing for ya! I'm sure they'll both be as good as I have come to expect from the amazing Mr. Prunty! And if you could read and rate my first published short (Boneyard Smack), I'd be forever in your debt!
Take care, my friend!

message 52: by Noran

Noran Miss Pumkin Thanks for the reply1 :) Have palypal-will hook up in a month or two then!!!! Always get a few signed books from writers like you--not well known, but write great. Quimby's is such an experience--the range and depth of their shelves and the zines are amazing. they change around the shop every year or two. It my co-workers went in there, they would be disgusted! LOL!!! Thgey are so up tight, but they would never think i would adore shopping a store like that EVER!
I recommend a zine "The Inner Swine". You cane goggle it-it is on-line. Great writing by one ego.

message 51: by Noran

Noran Miss Pumkin love the pics from the Q!! Was that the first time you were there? I just adore the place--it drains my wallet every time. I was wondering if i can get signed books from you later this year. I would cover postage. Just email me me the how or the no. thanks. Sorry I could not get anyone to work for me that night.
