I'm a mom of two sons, blogger, illustrator, publisher, reader, reviewer and multi-genre indie author who loves to mix genres, and an inventor, playwright who writes all genres including visionary fiction.
My oldest son is a product of my previous interracial marriage. He's bi-racial. He is autistic/nonverbal and making steady and exceptional progress daily. He's an honor roll student. I'm in a serious relationship and just recently gave birth to my second son. I have many biracial/multi-racial family members. I will write my oldest son's biography one day in the near future. And yes, I will be self-publishing it.
*I'll be writing and illustrating books in the near future for children, teens and young adults that my sons can relate to.

Behind the Scenes of Someone Else's Dream by Angel M.B. Chadwick

I don't want to be anyone's Cyrano anymore.
For now, for me, I want the freedom to dream
To make my dreams come true for once
At the helm is where I want, I need to be
I don't want to be behind the scenes of someone else's dream.

“If you live on regrets, you'll be living a parasitic life.”
Angel M.B. Chadwick, Corridors of My Mind

“Books can be possessive, can't they? You're walking around in a bookstore and a certain one will jump out at you, like it had moved there on its own, just to get your attention. Sometimes what's inside will change your life, but sometimes you don't even have to read it. Sometimes it's a comfort just to have a book around. Many of these books haven't even had their spines cracked. 'Why do you buy books you don't even read?' our daughter asks us. That's like asking someone who lives alone why they bought a cat. For company, of course.”
Sarah Addison Allen, The Sugar Queen

“My favorite quote for First Frost is, They give their hearts away too easily and get distracted by silver-eyed strangers.”

I love literature. I'm obsessed with it. It's what started me to being a writer. Not many books today are written like the great classics. So I miss literature like that. I've read The Great Gatsby many times before too.

I've been a fan of Agatha Christie's, Edgar Allan Poe's works are my favorite, Bret Harte, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, Shakespeare, yes, I've read all his works and understand them very well. I use to interpret these authors works particularly Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe when I was just 15 years old.

But, those are just a few of the literary writers that I absolutely love and cherish. I given modern authors a chance too but, they just don't hit home for me like the classics do. Literature is in my blood. Without literature I don't think I'd ever have become an author. I'm glad we have the classics in common. Thanks for contacting me! Hope we can talk again.

Elizabeth Wheeler I just got your recommendation the The Great Gatsby. I've read that book several times, and loved it every time. I didn't realize people still read "literature" for pleasure. Most people will say "Oh I had to read that for school". As if reading a great piece of art is a burden. I'm so glad some people still read the classics just for the enjoyment.
