This was my first Frieda McFadden book. I read this as a buddy read with Keya. I didn't have high hopes for this, I'm not going to lie. Sometimes these thriller books can be cheesy and this one definitely was. I DID ENJOY IT THOUGH. I just didn't love it. A lot of it was predictable. Some parts were elementary. Some parts were gross (pedophile type stuff). I could see it as a cheesy hallmark movie.
I would read her other books for sure. If you want just a quick book that you don't have to think very hard about... this is for you. If you want a book that you can read in a few hours because you're on a time crunch with your goals... this book is for you. Entertaining, but forgettable.

Oh nooo that for sure wasn’t the best one to ‘get to know’ Freida McFadden… I usually really, really enjoy her books but this one was really not it.. I hope you’ll try another by her and see for yourself! 🌷

This one has been on my tbr for a while now but I'm so scared to pick it up because of the mixed reviews it's gotten 😖

This was my first experience with her and I wasn’t a huge fan of this title. Still plan on checking out other works by her!
I was disappointed, too.
This was my first read of hers and I was so disappointed. It found it to be so inappropriate and creepy I had to DNF. I hope her other books are better.

I love that her books are fast paced and easy to binge, the story cam be hit or miss tho lol
This wasn't her best book imo, I would definitely recommend reading the Housemaid series next. So glad you still enjoyed it bb 🤍 thank you for doing the br with me<3 I had an amazing time and we should definitely do it again!
I'd recommend Brain Damage, Never Lie along with the Housemaid by Freida ...they are much much better than the teacher

I’ve seen so much praise for this author over the years but I have still yet to read anything of hers! Maybe this one isn’t the best to start then if it’s kinda predictable and all, but I’m definitely intrigued! I hope your next book by her will be better💕
