I agree! Who in their right mind could calmly live in a house/mansion that ready to collapse into the ocean? 🤦🏼♀️ But, I gave it 4 stars because I was entertained and the MANY twists and turns were kind of fun even though they were unbelievable. Lol I

I totally agree! This was not my favorite book. I also was so confused when Kit asked Archie to go call the police when she is about to have her facedown with her dad, and the police just never show up? And we never find out if the stupid detective finally trusts/believes Kit now that she’s found out the Hope family secret and the whole freakin house collapses. Terrible!

Irrationally angry! Exactly that. So frustrating and absurd.
I enjoyed the book overall but I was like why tf is running to save her and running back in to die after he was just about to strangle her.
I thought I was the only one. This book was complete nonsense.
I'm not too found of Riley Sager's writing ether. I did find this one to be an improvement though.
