All carrying humans, which are carrying out their lives.
What an odd and inappropriate thing to day about the novel.
It has happened and it is happening still. The fact you didnt care about it or found anything to relate to, scream privilege. And that doesn't make the book bad. It's a you issue.
Hated the book too, but, to be fair, Margaret Atwood did the same with The Handmaid's Tale
Agree. Where was the substance, and the writing style was deeply disturbing for me, Flo. Thank you for your honest perspective review. 🙂

History tends to repeat itself, but that's not a reason to be ignorant about our past. My point is that dystopian novels usually show us something that hasn't happened yet. So, when you talk about things that happened or are happening, you should be brave enough to not hide your message behind fiction, because then it has no real value.
