God that was insufferable. The characters were annoying as all hell and the back and forth of the plot line was too predictable

The main character Jo is pathetic and dumb
The husband comes off as an asshole before the final twist and even more of an asshole after it even though he’s a victim. Meanwhile in all this the MC just keeps getting dumber and dumber after every page. Really hated all the characters in this book. Except maybe Oscar.
If Chloe is 20 years old, can't she just buy a house, get a job and live by herself instead of comming to her dad's house?!?! She Even hasn't spoken to him in 2 years?!? And is Joanne crazy?!?! She even lets chloe look after the baby. I think Joanne and her husband Richard should just kick Chloe out of her house. I can't finnish this.
Same, I can't stand Joanne.
