This needed to be a short story, the beginning was interesting, the end was GRIPPING, but I mean every page in between was a slow death of boredom slowly killing my will to live or care about this story.

Right??? Like it was just too narrative. She kept going on and on about her daily activities. There’s no build up.

LMAO the comments. 100% agree. I would've dnfed so fast if I had read it with my eyeballs. These are the types of books I can only read via audiobook so I can jsut zone out whenever she starts talking about how fluffy and flaky her morning croissant was.
