This is the book everyone has been hyping up?!

I'm gonna need a cash rebate from everyone who has been singing the praises of these brutally average early 2023 releases (looking at you, too, Big Swiss).

Megan Does this mean it’s not worth downloading the audiobook first thing tomorrow morning 😬

I'll have a review video up on my channel late tomorrow morning, if you're able to wait that long!

Laurel "brutally average" - ouch, but I feel it

Dorie - Cats&Books :) I have to agree, I have tried to read this book at least 3 times an I just don't get what's so great about it. It's slow paced and I'm tired of the podcast trope, so overused this year!

Karen Agree. It was so unoriginal.

CopaSribe "Brutally average" - 100%. I picked this up after your YouTube review, thinking it sounded good. Despite your warnings, I used an audible credit. But you were spot on. And so much telling! Not even Julia Whelan can make this good, I'm about to DNF.

Whitney Austin My brain has trouble following the writing flow. I keep reading and rereading paragraphs. I don't know why. It seems so choppy and trying to figure who is talking or referencing whom is tough.

Alison Rose I'm 20% in and I cannot believe how bad it is.

Emily Good This book was terrible

Emily Good Whitney I feel 150 percent the same!!

Richard Gorelick Oh my god. Every word you say I agree with !
