I will be honest and say that after reading the summary, I wasn't sure that this book would measure up to Upside Down in a Laura Ingalls Town. But the writing sucks you in at the beginning and holds your attention the whole time. There were just enough twists and turns to keep it from being predictable while mainting focus on the ups and downs of teen life when you are just a bit different. This would be great for reluctant high school readers or for book clubs with a YA focus. Thoroughly enjoyable! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
