The complete first volume of Moore's attempt to merge some major fictional Victorian characters into a single reality. Moore, in a distinctly Victorian fashion uses the likes of Allan Quatermain, Holmes & Moriarty, Wilhelmina Murray, Captain Nemo, The Invisible Man, Jekyll & Hyde, Mycroft Holmes etc. to populate this world as well as numerous cameos by many other fictional Victorian characters. The first volume concerns the assembling of the League by Murray and Nemo and an ongoing war between Moriarty in the West of London and the Doctor in Limehouse and the East of London. Nice piece of work. A 7 out of 12, Three Star Moore jam.

Ostrava I skipped this series because the latter volumes had worse reviews.
