It's just super lazy. Some things are slightly different but otherwise, nope.

Yeah, I thought so too :0 I guess it's got a very solid fanbase that will let anything slide..? After all, it's like a fanfic, but from the author herself. If you were a crazed fan, I guess you might like the idea.

Those are nowhere near as bad as this - although I don't *quite* get the obsession with them.

To me this book was so much more than just a gender flipped Twilight. granted this book isn't even canon in the twilight universe so all thoughts are it are subjective. I loved how much the story changed alone the way. it was a fun way to reinvent these characters that's the part that was fairly original to me.
i have the version that's twilight, flip it over and it's life and death. i literally compared the first few pages and it's just her changing names and pronouns. imma still read it because i'm a nightmare child, but. woooo.
