“I do not write about love
as if I have invented it.
I write about love
because thoughts of you
inspire self-forgetfulness.
And because writing about you
gives birth to a star.
These stars sit inside me
where there was once
darkness.”

“Home for me is not where I am. Home for me is a physical structure where the girl whom I love is sheltered and protected from the incoming storms of life. Home for me is not where I am safe, but where she is safe. Home for me is not where she exists, but where she lives. She is my home.”

“The Scholars
"Bald heads forgetful of their sins,
Old, learned, respectable bald heads
Edit and annotate the lines
That young men, tossing on their beds,
Rhymed out in love’s despair
To flatter beauty’s ignorant ear.
They’ll cough in the ink to the world’s end;
Wear out the carpet with their shoes
Earning respect; have no strange friend;
If they have sinned nobody knows.
Lord, what would they say
Should their Catullus walk that way?”
― The Wild Swans At Coole

“Manhood Diaries (The Sonnet)
Onun için cennet ol, cehennem değil.
Vicdanlı bir adam ol, hayvan değil.
Sé una bendición para ella, no una maldición.
Onun yaralarına ilacı ol, tuz değil.
Be her paradise, not prison.
Be her man, not master.
Be a miracle to her maladies.
Be her crown, not custard.
There is no alpha male and beta male,
There is only man and baboon.
Decency defines a man's character,
Not the virility of his heirloom.
Partner on the streets,
Slave between the sheets,
That's what a real man is.
Undaunted in danger,
Uncompromising in calamity,
That's what a real human is.”
― Visvavictor: Kanima Akiyor Kainat

“I say most truly that at that moment the spirit of life, which hath its dwelling in the secretest chamber of the heart, began to tremble so violently that the least pulses of my body shook therewith; and in trembling it said these words: Ecce deus fortior me, qui veniens dominabitur mihi, (“Here is a deity stronger than I ; who, coming, shall rule over me.”)”

“Emotion
I can be a little shy
In time, you'll learn why
But right now, (I somehow)
≈ want to be
Clothed in your devotion
{trust me}
I'm never ~ this open
Feelings like this
Are Heaven sent gifts
And right now, (I'd somehow)
≈ cross the floor of the ocean
To taste your emotion

“She
You are "she"
She who clothes herself
In light
And wears it
As if it's élan vital
You are "she"
She who wakes the Angels
'Causing them to spread their wings
So they'll rise up from the radiant abyss
In order to touch the vaulted firmament
You are "she"
She whose heart in me
Causes me
To believe what I feel
But, cannot see
You are "she"
She, the myth alive
The she who
Feels me with love
And fills me with love

“Anne Hathaway's Garden by Stewart Stafford
In Stratford, lies a garden's tended hair,
Two lovebirds, Avon swans, nested there.
Anne kept counsel as Shakespeare's bride,
United home and clan over distance wide.
Pestilence, flood and war roared with fright,
This English idyll thrived in the pastoral light,
Rose, rosemary pruned with nurturing care,
Floral Tudor fireworks, exploding fragrant air.
The Bard, swansong past, returned to her,
Wooed Anne with words, the heartbeat spur,
To walk and reminisce among the green,
Sparked a fire that life apart rendered lean.
Anne Hathaway's garden outlived them all,
Paralleled words, evergreen, as in virgin scrawl.

“Morning's Serenade by Stewart Stafford
Stirred by a magpie's auction bids,
I opened up our curtained eyelids,
To pale dawn's reverential blinking,
Beyond my lady's distant inkling.
Anointed by the infant sun's rays,
I stand in regal morning’s praise;
Surveying virgin domain’s expanse,
Before the hatchling public dance.
The early-risen owl hoots carried far,
The songbirds played off fading stars,
Cockcrow drew in a loping red fox,
Scattering fawns and sheep flocks.
My lady spent, sports a drowsy crown,
Her chest rises, then slowly down,
Cityscape visions to last night's desire,
Golden tresses tossed in oriole fire.
To the kitchen, a connoisseur's start,
A lover's labour, a chef's work of art,
Crack avian treasures, new life's motif.
Ground coffee, perfumed weekend relief.
