I don't think there is anything age inappropriate for a teenager or even pre-teen. This is definitely geared towards adults. I disagree with the commenter who said "it gets unnecessarily raw," and I thought the character voices were authentic. Content warning would be murder, death, emotional abuse/manipulation, financial abuse, scamming.

There should be a warning about language. it gets unnecessarily raw. I think few people under 18 would care about the book.
