Good afternoon! I'm trying to recall a book by an author you interviewed this past year and am stumped! The author had written more than one book but this one was about a neighborhood in which the neighbors seem pretty 'normal' until a newcomer moves in and then everything/everyone seems to have a secret. I don't think it's Hepworth's The Family Next Door. I thought the author may be Asian? Thank you!

Anne Bogel Beth, I can think of two books by authors I interviewed last year that describe previously quiet neighborhoods that change when a stranger moves in. The first is Never Have I Ever by Joshilyn Jackson; the second is Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. If I had to bet, my money would be on Ng's. I thoroughly enjoyed them both myself.
