Any recommendations as to which is the best non-biased and objective history of the Arab-Israel conflict? Most of this list seems to be either Israeli propaganda or Arab propaganda.

Hello Peter.
I’m surprised at the lack of response to your question. I have found several books on the Arab Israeli conflict helpful. Maybe these will help you get started:
Ilan Pappe, “The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine.”
Schlomo Sand, “The Invention of the Jewish People.”
Marcus Amy Dockser, “Jerusalem 1913.”
Izzeldin Abueilaish, “I Shall Not Hate.”
Jimmy Carter, “Palestine, Peace Not Apartheid.”
Michelle Cohen Corrasanti, “The Almond Tree.”
Noam Chomsky, “Gaza in Crisis.”
"The Israeli Lobby and US Foreign Policy."
And my own book,(Colin Mallard) “Stillpoint.
It is an important topic and something not well understood in the West.

History repeats itself. The never ending Israel Palestine conflict... The Palestinians have become the victims once again, why? Because they are innocent by-standers. How can this change? They should neither remain innocent nor by-standers. Their leadership (some leadership!) has shown no merit, they are affiliates to such fascist regimes as Iran and want to keep the status-quo. How many more victims are needed to change this? What should be done?
This starts with organizing the oppressed, raising awareness and training them to defend themselves against both their enemies, the organized crime gangs that are their own leaders as well as their enemies.
Reading books that will lead them towards achieving this goal is essential. Let us start with the younger generations and move from there.

Thanks guys - the Ilan Pappe book looks like a must read for a start. I suppose some bias is inevitable but I'm looking for a definitive history of Arab-Israeli conflict which give a good overview of what happened..
the story of the origin of Palestinian dispossession in 1948, what they call Nakbah/Catastrophe, has perhaps its best literary expression in the prominent Lebanese novelist Elias Khoury's celebrated novel "Gate of the Sun" (1998)--translated into English by Humphrey Davies--for those of you who still have time and room left on your summer reading list I strongly recommend this novel--

Sabra and Shatila are unfortunately no more in our collective memories:

Unfortunately I cannot find any books on Tel al-Zaatar.
However there is a mention in Wikipedia:

The Secret Life of Bees???
Four people voted for the freaking Secret Life of Bees on a list about books to do with Israel and Palestine. I don't even know what to say.
Edit: Twelve Years a Slave and A Hundred Years of Solitude are on here too. It's enough to make me want to vote Harry Potter onto the list, for the sake of sheer ridiculousness.

Why on earth are The Secret Life of Bees and Twelve Years a Slave on this list. I know that open lists sometimes attract odd additions but come on. Does anyone monitor this list?

Deleted, along with The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference. Anything else you'd like me to get rid of?
Edit: also got rid of One Hundred Years of Solitude.

The Book "The Mystery of the temple of Solomon" is a new scientific research and its objective was answering the following questions: Did the Lord order Moses to build a Temple in the Pentateuch? What is the difference between the Hebrew, the Israeli and the Jew? How does Torah recognize that Palestine’s land was a foreignness land for Patriarchs and their families? Is there any relationship between the people of Abraham and the people of Moses? Did Jacob build a Temple in Jerusalem? What civilization was in the city of Jerusalem before David seized it - according to Torah? Who are its people? Did they leave or emigrate from it after David took over the city? What is the difference between the story of David and Solomon mentioned in the Bible and in the Quran? The Hebrew Bible, the Samaritan Torah, and the Dead Sea Scrolls, do they agree about a specific place of the holy Temple? Is there a uniform specification for the Temple of Solomon mentioned in the Old Testament? Had really Solomon build a temple? Did Cyrus call the exiled Jews to return to Jerusalem in Cyrus Cylinder? What is the relation between Herod the Great and Jews? How many historical references mention the story of the Second Temple? Was Al-Aqsa Mosque build on the ruins of the Temple of Solomon? Is the Wailing Wall related to Jews or Muslims?

Hello,
I am new to this platform. And as I was checking it, I came across your post. Just last week, I launched my second version of The Parachute Paradox which tackles the history from a different point of view. It's available on kindle now and next week in paperback.
There is a hardcopy version, however, the new version has been completely updated. Check the book reviews under its description ...

Pro-Palestinian novels can not be antisemitic as Palestinian (well all Arabic speaking peoples actually) are semitic peoples just as an FYI :) Basically anyone speaking Arabic or Hebrew.

LMAO, what an absolutely nonsensical comment built upon a textbook etymological fallacy. Arab antisemites love cloaking themselves in this half-baked defense and think it somehow exonerates them from any potential criticisms or accusations of antisemitism that may befall them.
