My question is for the publisher. If the child within the story is Gen-Z there is NO WAY the woman on the cover should look 85. Generally, if you're the parent of a Gen-Z child (really young adult) you should be a Gen-Xer, born somewhere between 1967 and 1980. Could we get an amended cover with an Asian American woman with shoulder length black hair with streaks of grey or (be gutsy, purple highlights)?

Though I love the idea of purple highlights/shoulder length black hair, Vera is based on the many Asian, As-Am, and Asian-British women I know, including my own mother when she was Vera's age, so how the character looks on the cover is sheer perfection and I just want to squish her, lol! <3 (less)

I disagree with the commenter who said "it gets unnecessarily raw," and I thought the character voices were authentic.
