“She reached out, her fingers hesitant. The deer—Knox—tilted his head down, letting her touch his antlers. Her hand trembled slightly as she caressed the boney protrusion. The ivory tines were warmer than she thought they’d be, a living extension of the man inside. She petted his pelt next, charmed by the coarse fur and the feel of his muscles bunching and moving underneath.
Sitting back, she winked up at him. "You probably get this a lot,but…nice rack.”

I don't even know how to reply with the amount of appreciation I'm feeling. I'm just really honored and thrilled that you like the Forbidden Men and my writing, and just...everything!! And I'm so happy I've been able to share my stories with you.You should definitely NOT give up on your writing dream. I have a feeling you're your own worst critic, and they're really not as bad as you think they are!!
I've been writing stories for years, finished my first full length one in 1996 or so and I started submitting them to publishers in 1997. I wrote over fifteen books and tried to get published for over ten years before I sold my first one in 2008 (and it was finally published in 2010) before I tried out self-publishing in 2013. I know my stories really aren't perfect and could still get better, and I'm still learning, but yeah...I think I've only gotten this far because I just stuck with it, and because I had tons of helpful advice and tips from loads of other people! So trust me when I say you are absolutely right...lots of practice and just not giving up really can pay off!!
Good luck to you! I hope to fangirl over YOUR stories some day. And thank you again for writing your lovely letter. I hope Knox and City don't let you down!

Hi, You probably receive loads of messages and I think it's highly unlikely for you to see this let alone reply to me, But that's okay, I'll take my chances. I've just finished reading the last published book from your Forbidden Men series 'A Perfect Ten' and I FREAKING LOVED IT. And I just had to talk to you about it because you're the author and you're awesome and I love you.... And because that's what I do after I finish a really really really good book, I tend to find a way to message the author not really caring if I'll get a reply or not. I just really hope you read this and know how much I admire you.Each and every book in the Forbidden Men series made me happy, Like really happy I can't even begin to describe it. Thank you so much for putting a smile on my face you have no idea how much it means to me. You're a wonderful author, You're extremely talented and your books always make me feel giddy on the inside. You keep reminding me what true love means and you leave me aching for a love like that. You have an incredible writing style and I noticed that every character in your book has a different writing voice that fits them just right, now that's a real talent right there.
I'm trying to write a book myself -and failing miserably- I can't get the plot, The writing voice, Or the characters' right, Every time I fix something, Another pops up and yeah, it sucks. So you're my idol for writing things so perfectly, For managing to pull off an independent series so well, That can't be easy but you did it beautifully. And somehow it gives me hope that maybe, just maybe after a lot of practice I'll be like you one day.
I can't wait for your next book in the series "Worth It" , So excited to find out who Knox is, But I can already tell that no matter how much time us crazy fangirls have to wait, it's gonna be 'worth it' at the end (excuse me for being so lame)

I discovered your series last month as one of my favorite blogs recommended the series and it's one of my favorites now! It just keeps getting better and better. I just finished "With Every Heartbeat" over the weekend and I absolutely loved it, the couple was so adorable and lovable. It was great seeing al the rest of the other character. I can't wait to read Ten's story , although the majority of the things he says makes me want to slap him, when his façade is off he is a total sweetheart and I know his and Caroline's story is going to be one big amazing, profound roller coaster. I also look forward to seeing Noel's brothers stories you for another riveting love story.
