If it's the trade paperback edition I indie-published (with the blue cover), I assume that must have been some kind of strange CreateSpace printing error (as it looks like the Thompson book is probably an indie title and its trade paperback edition is probably also printed via CreateSpace). If you can confirm this information, let me know and I'll see if I can reach out to a contact at Amazon (if you haven't sorted this out some other way in the five months since you asked!). If you do, please send me a regular email at johnjosephadams / @ / gmail so I'll be sure to see it. Apologies again for missing this when you first posted it.(less)

Sorry it's not available simultaneous with the print edition—that would have been ideal!(less)

“They almost killed me.” “I guess they didn’t.”
John Joseph Adams, Wastelands 2: More Stories of the Apocalypse

“They say you can’t remember pain—the fact of it, yes, but the truth of it, the physical texture of agony? Gone and forgotten. Which makes it easy to forget that pain hurts, that the wounded life isn’t always worth living.”
John Joseph Adams, The End is Nigh

“It is only when we have the courage to face things exactly as they are, without any self-deception or illusion, that a light will develop out of events, by which the path to success may be recognized.”
John Joseph Adams, The End is Now
