On Sunday, Swifties around the country gathered around their television sets (or just refreshed social media) for real-time footage of their fave watching the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. After her presence at last week's game spiked sales of her rumored boyfriend's jersey by 400% and launched the actual creation of Seemingly Ranch sauce, it's no surprise that the NFL and NBC have gone all in on all things Taylor. It's a Taylor Swift economy, and we're just living in it.
One particular moment that was caught on camera and shared on Peacock's official TikTok account showed Swift talking to close friend Blake Lively while throwing some playful punches.

If there's one thing TikTok Swifties are wont to do, it's play lip reader, and many are convinced it's clear what Taylor was saying. “Look at him,” one user narrated over the original clip before making some playful grunting noises. According to this TikTok user and others, Swift was obviously “mocking” the 33-year-old tight end as he fist- and chest-bumped his fellow players during the game. This post by user @kayjackreads currently has 1.2 million views and 118,500 likes.

“I love this HAHAHAH she’s so smitten and happy,” one user commented on the post, which echoes a recent Us Weekly report. “They have been on a few dates, and Taylor is smitten with him,” a source told the publication prior to Sunday's game. However, the source also claimed the relationship is not “serious.”
No matter where Traylor stood last week, things may be heating up between the pop star and the athlete. Not only was Travis Kelce spotted at Taylor Swift's NYC apartment prior to the game, but the “Welcome to New York” singer seems to be merging their friend groups. On September 30, Swift was photographed going out for dinner with Lively, Sophie Turner, and Kansas City WAG Brittany Mahomes (who is also an athlete and businesswoman in her own right). Mahomes then joined Swift and Co. in their suite to watch the game on October 1.
