Miss. Amberly Alexis Barnett Pope, age 11, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019. She was born on April 5, 2007 in Rome, Georgia.
Amberly is survived by her mother, Jonie Barnett (Josh Hackney); father, Brian Pope; brothers, Bralin Pope, Caiden Pope, and Kristain Pope; sisters, Madison Hackney and Faith Hackney; paternal grandparents, Mary “Mimi” Pope and Benny Pope; maternal grandfather, John Wayne Barnett; aunts, Savannah Nix, KC Barnett (Jesse Crane), and Erica Barnett; uncles, Haden Pope, Philip Barnett, and Clarence Calhoun, Jr.; and several extended family members also survive.
Amberly is preceded in death by grandmother, Tammy Barnett; and great-grandmothers, Rebecca Caldwell and Ester McRay.
The funeral arrangements for Miss. Amberly Alexis Barnett Pope will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at two o’clock in the afternoon at First Baptist Church of Cedartown with Rev. Aaron Johnson, Rev. Jamie Newsome, and Rev. Johnathan Blackmon officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.
The family of Miss. Amberly will receive family and friends on Friday, March 8, 2019 from eleven o’clock in the morning until the funeral hour at First Baptist Church of Cedartown.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Owen Womack, Josh Weaver, Tyler Griffith, Wayne Barber, Johnathan Mathis, Jimmy Womack and Haden Pope.
