News

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER: The Executive Producer is responsible for the daily direction and oversight of FOX 4's PM linear and digital newscasts. That includes content assignments, production and coaching of staff.  The EP oversees and is directly involved in the execution of enterprised reporting, breaking news coverage, online content, segments and other assigned projects for FOX 4’s linear and digital content. Must oversee enterprise shoots and segments. Must effectively supervise Producers, Reporters, Anchors, Associate Producers, Directors and Assignment Editors. Must work with Production and Engineering to plan and execute linear and digital content and newscasts - including remotes, segments and productions.  Provide guidance for Reporters for story ideas, development and execution. Oversee content selection and execution by Producers, Associate Producers and performance by on-air Talent.  Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communication required. At least six (6) years in a top TV market experience required. Prior managerial/supervisory experience a must.  Must have knowledge and proficiency in newsroom systems.  Must have experience and strong skill set in social media. SUPERVISING PRODUCER: The Supervising Producer is responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of Linear and Digital -- including newscasts, breaking news coverage, online content and other assigned projects for FOX 4.  Must work with the Executive Producer, Producers, Reporters, Photographers, Anchors, Associate Producers and Assignment Editors to enterprise, plan, coach, write and produce content for FOX 4’s linear and digital newscasts, website and social media.  Must work with Production and Engineering to plan and execute newscasts - including remotes, segments and productions.  Assign and copy edit scripts, teases and graphics.  Provide guidance for Reporters for story ideas and story development. Provide guidance for Producers on show content and production. Must work closely with the Executive Producer in the day-to-day operation of the News department. Fill in producing newscasts when necessary.  Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communication required. At least six (6) years in a top TV market experience required. NEWS PRODUCER: Strong writing and show production skills are required. Must have strong editorial knowledge and be an active decision maker, including working with Anchors, Reporters, Assignment Editors, Associate Producers, Directors and Managers. Responsible for producing all elements of newscasts-- including leads, stories, teases and breakouts. Experienced in mining social media information and producing elements for broadcast.  Must be an experienced leader in coverage and execution of live and breaking news event coverage.  Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned.

NEWS REPORTER: Candidate must have proven and consistent experience as a Reporter. That includes live studio and field reporting, interviewing, research, writing, story and segment setup and special reports. Candidate must enterprise news stories, set up and produce remote segments, interviews and be versatile as a writer and storyteller.  Proven experience with enterprising local and original content for broadcast and digital. Must execute daily stories with creative storytelling. Skilled at mining and posting to social media platforms.

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or Communications required. Five (5) to seven (7) years television news experience in a medium to major market. Excellent communication skills, solid news judgment and strong writing and on-air performance skills required. Strong knowledge of legal and ethical parameters for broadcast and digital media is essential. Must have a thorough knowledge of current events and governmental, police, and other agency procedures. Strong research/data recovery skills. Must be capable of using news computer systems and be familiar with TV and digital production techniques. FLX SALES ASSISTANT: The FLX Sales Assistant/Digital Coordinator works in a fun, fast-paced and fluid environment.  This position will be working on the FLX OTT platform along with Sales Leadership, Account Executives (AEs) and Digital Streaming Specialist on all aspects of the pre and post sales process.  The position is responsible for working with a team of Account Executives in the FOX Local Extension (FLX) Sales department (OTT/Digital Ad Sales). The person in the role will also handle order processing, trafficking and assist AEs on prospecting, research gathering, sales planning, and invoicing. The FLX Sales Assistant will also act as a liaison between AEs, agency buyers and clients.

High School diploma required. College degree and digital experience preferred. Must have excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.  Knowledge of local TV marketplace is a must.  Willingness to learn and grow. Must have a customer (internal and external) focus.
