Lori Vallow's AZ trial to start in 2025

The Arizona trial for Lori Vallow, the so-called "Doomsday Mom," has been pushed back until next year. Her defense says they are not close to being done reviewing the discovery in the case, which is about 15 terabytes of data. FOX 10's Justin Lum has this story.

Lori Vallow: FOX 10 seeks courtroom cameras in Arizona

Fox 10 Investigative reporter Justin Lum made a statement to a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge on why the media should be able to record Lori Vallow’s status conference. Cameras were not allowed to film this hearing regarding the defense’s motion to prevent the broadcast of the status conference. The judge ruled in favor of cameras but Vallow waived her appearance for the hearing that followed and was taken back to jail.

During a status conference on July 2, a Maricopa County judge granted a motion to continue Lori Vallow's Arizona trial. Despite Vallow not waiving her speedy trial rights, her defense says they need more time to complete review of discovery. Vallow is accused of murder conspiracy charges in the death of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, and the attempted murder of her former nephew-in-law, Brandon Boudreaux.
