I have to thank you from the heart really all for the many visits to my previous photos. These are hard times for everyone, I'm playing with my old photos, mixing and superimposing textures, trying to create what I can see with memories of different atmospheres.
This road is still in the snow, but I imagine that there, somewhere, there is a beautiful sun and white sand. Hence the title, also inspired by the song....

There were three white pelicans enjoying the Koll wetlands the last few days. Yesterday, I shot from the east shore, and today, I went to the west side, to get the backlight. It sure paid off, with this great view of the water, and even the fish, clearly silhouetted in the pouch!

I was able to get really close to this white wagtail, I did not seem to bother him at all as he gazed out over the water.

As I continue my bird photography, I so enjoy learning about and engaging with species that I previously knew little to nothing about.
Corolla, North Carolina on the Outer Banks does have wild horses, but this isn't one! I added this to my photo using Photoshop's new "generative fill". It worked pretty well, but if you look closely at the horse's mouth you will notice irregularities!
