Taken near Lytham St. Anns in 2004 with a sony compact. I stopped the car and took this. All I could hear was the clouds whispering past in the wind.

PS Elements 9 is quite different to my old version 6. If I can get some quality time it should be easy to get going with it. In the meantime, here is another Flickr archive shot .

Taken through glass, I caught this rainbow over Leeds today. The buildings along the waterfront (River Aire and Calder Navigation) are expensive apartments, They have restaurants alongside too.

Taken around 8.00am from the Audi dealership. Very cold, snow flurries.

Tricolour Standard Hibiscus bush. This Tricolour is created by grafting three different coloured hibiscus cutting on to one rootstock (in this instance blue, pink, and this White with red centre).

Slight problem is that each graft behaves like it’s parent and, as the parent plants tend to flower at different times, it is rare that all three colours are in flower at the same time. It just goes to show that, whilst you can wrestle with nature, nature will ultimately win !

Not actually from the London Flickr Photowalk around Shadwell and Wapping back in February but taken about twenty minutes afterwards as I continued walking along the river as darkness fell. I managed to take a few dark and moody shots of London including this view towards the Shard skyscraper.

From Wikipedia "The Shard, also referred to as the Shard of Glass, Shard London Bridge and formerly London Bridge Tower, is a 95-story skyscraper, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano, in Southwark, London, that forms part of the Shard Quarter development. Standing 309.7 metres (1,016 ft) high, the Shard is the tallest building in the United Kingdom, the tallest building in the European Union, the fifth-tallest building in Europe and the 96th-tallest building in the world. It is also the second-tallest free-standing structure in the United Kingdom, after the concrete tower of the Emley Moor transmitting station. It replaced Southwark Towers, a 24-story office block built on the site in 1975.

The Shard's construction began in March 2009; it was topped out on 30 March 2012 and inaugurated on 5 July 2012. Practical completion was achieved in November 2012. The tower's privately operated observation deck, The View from The Shard, was opened to the public on 1 February 2013.The glass-clad pyramidal tower has 72 habitable floors, with a viewing gallery and open-air observation deck on the 72nd floor, at a height of 244 metres (801 ft). The Shard was developed by Sellar Property Group on behalf of LBQ Ltd and is jointly owned by Sellar Property (5%) and the State of Qatar (95%) The Shard is managed by Real Estate Management (UK) Limited on behalf of the owners."

Me and my shadow

Strolling down the avenue

Me and my shadow

Not a soul to tell our troubles too

And when it's twelve o'clock

We climb the stair

We never knock

For nobody's there

Just me and my shadow

All alone and feeling blue

Me and my shadow

Strolling down the avenue

Me and my shadow

Not a soul to tell our troubles too

And when it's twelve o'clock

We climb the stair

We never knock

For nobody's there

Just me and my shadow

All alone and feeling blue

I’ve taken this shot many times but not in these conditions, it’s transforms the woods into a mysterious scary place!

Just as it was taken..The reflections on the water give this photo a camouflage effect...Seen on the Lake at Hulls East Park.

Roaches Derbyshire uk ,

Three years ago I published an image like this under the title Incubus. This was the text going with it:

"This is the tool, a pitchfork, that the man who wishes to be the British Prime Minister wants to use in order to drive out the "great incubus", namely the European Union. Words matter. "Incubus" is a term taken from religious language. It describes the Devil entering you sexually. When Mr Boris Johnson conjures up the scenario of the EU f...g the UK from behind and that he would "pitchfork" it off the back of the British people [BBC interview, 24/6/19] you know what you have to expect. You have been warned."

Today, Mr Johnson resigned from office. His incompetence and dishonesty caused great damage inside and outside of the UK. Those who supported him and swept him into power have to ask themselves how they are going to regain credibility.
