Along the road of the Death Valley the clouds were casting shadows on the desert, again, halt the car and start to take photos!

THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT AND FAVES

ON THE REACTIONS I WILL TRY TO RESPOND BACK

In life, sometimes shadows appear more grandiose than reality.

I did not feel welcome...

You can’t run from the shadow, but you can invite it to dance (Tanya Geisler) !!

Shadow is one of the three furbabies of my parents in Rochester, NY. He hasn't been feeling so great these days and is on antibiotics...we're hoping that takes care of his illness and gets him eating like normal again.

A new year, but an old scene…still a favorite. Especially beautiful when kissed by the setting sun and the shadows begin to stretch their way across the field.

(My husband, if you're curious! ;-))

I'd noticed a few times that the Hares often shadow boxed early in the morning - but on examining the photo this habit became apparent - They were shaking of the early morning dew after they had just ran across the wet grass

The morning light gives a nice graduation of shadows on the front building

"This desert rose

whose shadow bears the secret promise.

This desert flower,

no sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this.

And now she turns,

this way she moves in the logic of all my dreams.

This fire burns.

I realize that nothing's as it seems;

I dream of rain,

I dream of gardens in the desert sand.

I wake in vain,

I dream of love as time runs through my hand..."

I saw this bridge while I was in Luckenbach, Texas and thought it make a great picture. It's not often you get the shadows working so well for you.

An empty park on a snowy day...well, not completely empty! The snow was not too deep, but it was bone-chilling cold...school was cancelled for several days because of the extreme dip in temperatures.

"Never fear shadows. They simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby."

I used a spiral egg cup for this shot. Just the base is showing here. I am not sure where I got it as I don't use egg cups. I've only used this one once: today for this macro shot. :-)

A gentle Spring breeze was blowing across the river causing the new grass stems to gently sway in a slow dance with their shadows.
