Light at the entrance to the Grand Harbour in Valletta, Malta.

A very calm but cold evening on the harbour. I spent a few hours here, getting pics as the tide was rising and going dark. Difficult for long exposure as the boats were moving, perseverance paid off in the end.

Title by my good friend, Ken Stork (apwilliam) Thank you, Ken!

A pre-dawn trip down to the boat harbour on a calm morning.

When we visited Ilfracombe it was still quite overcast but there were some nice clouds starting to develop.

Medienhafen, Düsseldorf

With a coastline that has for many years been a favourite amongst the sailing fraternity it is no wonder that many of the town’s visitors are drawn to the lovely sheltered marina with it’s backdrop of natural Welsh beauty and excellent facilities. The Conwy Quays Marina boasts an impressive 500 secure pontoon berths, superb nearby boating and excellent cruising opportunities.

(302/366) Small boats in Wexford Harbour

It was a beautiful day yesterday in the East Neuk of Fife.

The start of my day's walk at the ferry dock in Polruan. I didn't make the ferry crossing this time but have many times in the past. It's a ferry service that is vital for the South West Coast Path walker and runs all year round.

A view towards the castle headland across the East Harbour on a Foggy April afternoon. There was very little wind ad so the East Harbour was mill pond calm and allowed for the reflection of the yachts moored in the harbour.

Thanks for viewing this and other images in my photo stream.

One of the expensive boats moored at the Docklands area with Bolte Bridge lit up in the background. Along the right of frame is a mass of apartment buildings and along ground level is a large variety of dining choices.

The village of Colchester, Ontario is on the north shore of Lake Erie. This break wall was built out into the lake to protect its harbour from heavy lake wave action. Even though Lake Erie is the shallowest of all the Great Lakes its waves can get over five feet high during high winds and storms.

An image I took sometime last year at Ramsgate Harbour.

Thw Harbour is one of my favourite places to photograph, just so much to think about and when the sun goes down the harbour changes once again.
