Glass artist Dale Chihuly’s Fiori di Como, composed of over 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers, covers 2,000 square feet of the lobby ceiling inside Las Vegas’ Bellagio Hotel and Casino.
Never really knew how hard concrete is to photograph. It is so porous and holey, I feel like I can never get it to be a clear shot. You can really see city dirt on windows and concrete. Yuck.
It was a windy day in the city and of course hand held, as I twist and turn to see what angle looks best.
Happy Day Ya All.

Hi my friends, just letting you know that we were very lucky and got away lightly. The 2 minute long earthquake (6.4) last night our time, was impressive and aftershocks all through the night at around 6 are now starting again...The moon must be a strong one. But all good here. There's still a tsunami warning out for us, so I think, home is the best place to be:)
Love & hugs and thank you all so much for your love and concern:)xoxo:)

Taken for the MacroMonday theme "Redux 2020". I went with the "Glass" theme. This a macro of a cake dish that has tiny "bubbles" in the glass.

Take me down to the river bend
Take me down to the fighting end
Wash the poison from off my skin
Show me how to be whole again
Fly me up on a silver wing
Past the black where the sirens sing
Warm me up in a nova's glow
And drop me down to the dream below
'Cause I'm only a crack in this castle of glass...
Venetian glass brought back from Morano in the early 1970s on my way through Italy as I followed the line of the WWII Allied invasion through Italy.
