Just a cute, colorful bench spotted in Montreal....perfect for Happy Bench Monday! (And I just now saw that we're supposed to STAND on said bench?!? This may be my last bench post...!)
This was quite a sight at the local golf course.
My sister said this looked like heaven's waiting room.
Looks like a bench on the planet Jupiter, amazing thing to see

Numerous giant benches, more than two meters high and three, wide scattered throughout Italy, located in beautiful panoramic. Reaching them takes a bit of effort but sitting up there, it feels like being a child again. The first was born in 2010 in Piedmont thanks to Chris Bangle. The first of a long series. Over time they have become a real tourist attraction and a social phenomenon. The basic idea is to find a way to become a child again and admire the beauty of the landscapes that nature offers us.

..lol..Another early morning shot from the park..;)
I picked this park for a reason. Where I work, they have stopped letting us go in until 15 minutes before 8am. My drive to work takes me 40 minutes, and after drinking my morning coffee, plus drinking coffee on the way to work, well, I'm ready for the restroom..:) And, this park is close to the office. So, there you go. Now you have the rest of the story..:)

The lights streaming across are my headlights..;) Just me playing around, but I kinda like it.
Captured during our Memorial Day weekend trip back to San Francisco and busy Pier 39. The weather was incredible!
Have a fantastic new week and thanks for dropping by!
I had to go to the hospital again but this time I was only there for observation while they were trying out a new drug. The doctor was concerned about the dosage. Anyway, when I checked out and was waiting out front front for my ride, I spotted these 2 benches

This is another marina rebuilding after hurricane Harvey. I was there pretty early, I wanted to ask if they charge people to be out on the pier. Seems like a lot of benches. I saw a couple of people watching me. Guess they didn't think I would much fishing with a camera..;) But, when I looked over at them like I wanted to ask a question, they just kinda faded away. Another photographer told me she didn't think fisherman like photographers?? I don't know if that's true or not. Gotta admit, there weren't the warmest group.
Anyway, happy week everyone
Taken back in 2014 in Lannion, when we were looking for an apartment here.
Hope I haven't used this for a bench Monday before. Not getting out much and I've taken all the benches near home.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :)
A child’s toy and an old bench....childhood and old age.... A visual metaphor? Or maybe just a little boy who got called to lunch and left his trike on the sidewalk!
This section of the canal is between Renton's Bridge and Nicholson's Bridge. On the left you can see Ripon Racecourse and to the right the tops of motor boats moored at the Ripon Motor Boat Club.
Ripon Motor Boat Club was established in 1931, having celebrated its 85th anniversary in 2016 the club is now one of the largest inland waterway boat clubs in the country.
The Ripon Canal is located in North Yorkshire, England. It was built by the canal engineer William Jessop to link the city of Ripon with the navigable section of the River Ure at Oxclose Lock, from where boats could reach York and Hull. First used in 1773 and closed in 1956 consising of 3 locks over its 2.3 miles
In 1961, members of the Ripon Motor Boat Club formed the Ripon Canal Company Ltd, and gradually restored the canal up to Littlethorpe. Subsequently, the Ripon Canal Society spearheaded restoration, which was completed in 1996. It is now managed by the Canal & River Trust

I spotted this bench at the entrance to a club downtown. A casual place, as you can see. Still, the bench seemed a little out of place.
Walking towards Commondale Village from Castleton in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, England
Commondale is located between Kildale and Eskdale
On the right is a new bench where you can stop and admire the view and watch the trains go by in the valley (Herb Line - Whitby to Middlesbrough)
On the left a new young tree has been planted, hope it survives.

The garden party..;) Actually, this is Umlauf sculpture garden in south Austin and I went there today. If I hadn't invited others to go along I would have probably not gone because the weather really got ugly. So, we took a fast tour and than went over to a near by restaurant and had a late lunch. The sculptor in the foreground is call "The Kiss"
The UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum provides educational experiences that encourage the understanding and appreciation of sculpture, and exhibits the work of Charles Umlauf and other contemporary sculptors in a natural setting.
