New features

Delta Lake on Amazon S3 is now in beta. Customers can now use Fivetran Managed Data Lake Service to land data in Amazon S3 using Delta Lake format, which extends our support for Delta Lake format to all three of our supported data lake destinations (Microsoft OneLake, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Amazon S3). Fivetran automatically writes data to Delta Lake format before landing it in Amazon S3, allowing you to query and govern the data with compatible query engines right out of the box. Hybrid deployment is now in beta. Have database or Salesforce data you want to move to your end destination that can’t leave your environment? With our Hybrid deployment model you decide where to host the data pipelines – in our secure cloud or within your local environment – while still enjoying the advantages of an automated SaaS model. Now available in beta for MongoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Salesforce and SQL Server on our Enterprise and Business Critical Fivetran plans. Read more here.

Teleport support for primary keyless tables. The teleport sync mechanism for SQL Server now supports primary key-less tables, allowing you to replicate tables without primary keys from your database to your destination with a read-only user. ‍Gather leads data from your ad connectors. We now support lead data for all major ad connectors, including Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn Ads. You can now drive greater marketing automation by capturing contact information, prospecting data points, and more from leads data.

New connector retry logic. We’ve refined our connector retry logic to have the highest chance of sync success while using resources more thoughtfully and efficiently. Learn more here.

Automatic setup of free Fivetran Platform connector with each new destination. Every time you create a new destination we’ll automatically spin up a Fivetran Platform Connector under the schema name fivetran_metadata. This helps automate your monitoring process and ensure you have a complete log of all of your data movement for troubleshooting and auditing. Learn more here.

New Azure cloud region. We’ve added Frankfurt to our EU Azure cloud regions, available for selection on the Business Critical plan. Browse all of our 35 cloud regions here.

Connectors in an open private preview will link you directly to your dashboard while those in a closed private preview will require you to request access via a form. All connectors in Private Preview are free to use while in this release phase.
