Classic cocktails on offer at the Pat Connolly Tavern include the Eleanor, made with club soda, fresh citrus, mint and housemade grenadine.
The Pat Connolly Tavern
Dogtown favorite The Pat Connolly Tavern reopened in January under its original name, featuring a revamped food-and-drink menu (the famous fried chicken didn't go anywhere, thankfully). The bar's happy hour, formerly offered only on Tuesdays, has been extended to seven days a week. You'll find discounted local craft favorites on tap alongside $2 macro brews – the bar has a vintage neon Budweiser sign out front, after all. Classic cocktails from the bar's original 1940s menu – think daiquiris, Moscow mules, sidecars and more – are already reasonably priced, and an additional $2 off during happy hour. Take $2 off appetizers including wings, toasted ravioli and a rosemary white bean dip served with hot tortilla chips. — Heather Riske
Happy hour is offered seven days a week, 3 to 6pm. Specials include $2 off all appetizers (except shrimp), $2 off classic cocktails & $1 off well drinks, $1 off draft beers & $1 off wine, $2 Bud Family, Busch, Coors, Miller, Kraftig.
