Emmerdale: Samson demands more money from Noah

Emmerdale has aired a twist for Samson Dingle as he announced plans to flee the village as soon as possible.

During Monday's trip to the Dales (July 8), Josh Cope confirmed that he and Samson are bringing forward their plans to travel around Europe and are set to leave in a few days time. The pair have been lying about Matty Barton stabbing Samson and are facing scrutiny from Moira and Cain Dingle.

As fans of the ITV soap will know, Matty is currently being remanded in prison after Samson told the police false allegations over the recent incident at The Hide.

Samson was accidentally injured during an attempted robbery at the bar and restaurant last month. The teen's friend Josh encouraged him to lie and say that Matty stabbed him on purpose.

This has caused a rift between Samson's father, Sam, and his uncle Cain Dingle, who is also Matty's stepfather. While Moira and Cain have sided with Matty, Sam and his wife Lydia are supporting Samson, believing his version of events.

But tonight, Samson confirmed his plans to leave and blamed Moira and Cain.

When Sam quizzed his son on wanting to leave before Matty's trial, Samson tried to brush him off.

"You can't run off you know", Sam told his son who denied the claim.

"I just don't get why everyone is on at me when I'm the one that got stabbed", Samson tells his dad, "They all hate me. Cain and Moira do and I'm scared at what they will do to me."

He continued to suggest that if he left the village no one would be able to hurt him. "I need to get away, just for a bit", Samson added: "Please dad I feel like everyone is watching me and its stressing me out. I just want things to be normal again."

Meanwhile, Moira caught wind of Samson's plan to leave and tried to find his passport to stop him without any success.

Moira told Mackenzie Boyd that they must keep an eye on Samson to ensure he doesn't leave the country as they sense his guilt.

The pairs conversation was then interrupted by Amy Barton who told Moira that he son Matty is in good spirits as a new solictor looks promising to get him released from prison.

Emmerdale continues weekdays on ITV from 7:30pm
