Good Morning Britain fans say 'it's inappropriate' as they issue complaint over hosts

On Monday morning, Good Morning Britain's Ed Balls and Susanna Reid were presenting the ITV show from outside Westminster.
It comes as the MP changeover begins following the Labour Party winning the General Election last week.
However, as his wife Yvette Cooper was recently appointed as Home Secretary, ITV viewers are unsure whether or not Ed should continue his presenting role on Good Morning Britain.
Taking to Twitter to air their thoughts, @MikeSalmon1402 asked: "Is Ed going to continue to be able to broadcast and remain impartial to this govt, now that his wife is a Labour minister?"
Another quipped: "Seems inappropriate that Ed Balls is still presenting on @GMB now that his wife is Home Secretary. Surely they should at least try to have some impartiality on the show?" reports the Mirror.
One viewer added: "Ed Balls in the morning will he take the new government to task considering his wife is Home Secretary."
@Andywilson56 tweeted: "Just a question ... but how can Ed Balls still present GMB ... I thought the presenters should not be biased to any party!!"
@DavidThePost commented: "Ed Balls asking questions of Pierce and Maguire regarding prisons...he could have just asked his wife and told us this morning [sic]...ridiculous realities of having @edballs as a co-host on a news programme."
With another adding: "Is Ed Balls still on #GMB whilst his wife is the Home Secretary, how does that work for #ITV and #Media Impartiality."

As the programme commenced, Susanna probed whether returning to Westminster evoked any memories for him.
He concurred, remarking: "The first memory it brings back for me is two years ago standing here with you on this green the day Boris Johnson resigned as Prime Minister.
"Two years ago, feels like quite a long time ago. A lot of change in the last two years, a lot of change in the last few days."
The ITV presenter pointed out that the new MPs are now experiencing a whirlwind as they adjust to their altered lives due to the shift in government.
He continued: "Quite a few of them weren't even expected to be elected at all. They had jobs, they had places to go, places and homes. Suddenly, you have a new place to live during the week."
Although he's currently co-hosting Good Morning Britain with Susanna, Ed once served in the government himself, holding the position of shadow chancellor from 2011 to 2015.
