Just Stop Oil and pro-Palestine protesters are planning to bring chaos to a key event for Sir Keir Starmer, as the newly elected Prime Minister's honeymoon period comes to a dramatic end in a matter of days, according to reports.

Youth Demand, a new organisation made up of various protest groups, warned they're plotting to cause disruption at the State Opening of Parliament on July 17.

It's a major event in the political calendar that will see King Charles setting out Labour's legislative agenda, as it returns to government for the first time in 14 years.

The protest group previously sparked outrage by protesting outside Sir Keir's home.

News of the protest plan was revealed in an email seen by GB News sent at 9.10pm on Saturday evening.

It's feared that the King's path to Parliament could be blocked by protesters or that the Parliamentary business could be interrupted.

Youth Demand said they're speaking out against Starmer over his stance on the war in Gaza which they feel hasn't been strong enough.

In an email they said Labour won the "sham election" after the Tories "collapsed".

"But Keir Starmer does not represent us: He has used the rigged two-party system to slither his way into Downing Street despite one of the lowest voter turnouts in 75 years," they added.

"Millions of young people across the country refused to vote for Labour and their deadly policies backing genocide in Palestine, and across the globe by driving climate disasters.

"Their success at this election is the ultimate proof that the system is f****d and we have no option but to resist.

"When our so-called 'leaders' don't have the guts or the moral backbone to even lift a finger for the people of Palestine after months of public outcry, it becomes obvious ordinary people need to take back our power.

"We have to force the change we need ourselves through causing disruption impossible for them to ignore.

"Next Wednesday 17th July is the State Opening of Parliament. In an outdated, farcical parade the king will ride in his (literal) golden carriage to usher in the new Labour government.

"Not in our name will Starmer be welcomed as the new head of a blood-stained parliament in pomp and glory.

"So, Youth Demand will be disrupting the State Opening of Parliament. We disrupt because it is our duty to fight back in every way we non-violently can, and because we refuse to despair, but instead are full of hope that another way is possible.

"Join us at 9.30am in Victoria Embankment Gardens to stand with us in resistance!"

Labour came under criticism from pro-Palestinian groups for initially voicing strong support of Israel after the Hamas terrorist attack of October 7, with Starmer (then the opposition leader) saying in an interview that Israel “has the right” to withhold power and water from Gaza.

He later attempted to clarify the comments and insisted he was talking about the country’s right to self-defence.

Since February, Labour has been calling for an “immediate humanitarian cease-fire” in Gaza, as Israel continues to pummel the Palestinian enclave in response to Hamas' October 7 attack, which claimed the lives of some 1,200 people as hundreds more were taken hostage.

The full-scale invasion of Gaza by Israel that followed has killed over 38,000 people, according to the Hamas-run health ministry, as a humanitarian catastophe unfolds in the region.
