And on top of that, the village has the UK’s best pub, The Peterville Inn. The pub secured the top spot at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.
The award-winning pub sits in the heart of the traditional Cornish village of St Agnes in a central position just 10 minutes walk from the beautiful Trevaunance Cove as well as just a short distance from the South West coastal path.
St Agnes has a rich history tied to tin and copper mining, which was a significant industry in the area during the 18th and 19th centuries.
The remnants of this mining heritage, such as engine houses and mine shafts, can still be seen in the landscape.

One traveller commented: "Absolutely beautiful beach and clear water we loved swimming as the tide was coming in, everyone was having a great time, it was beautiful weather 32C and gorgeous conditions for cooling off. Great amenities toilets near the beach. The parking area is small however so get there early."
A second user said: "Had a walk on the beach and sat and drank coffee whilst looking at the breathtaking views. Could happily spend an afternoon on this beach. If you're feeling energetic you could park at St Agnes and walk down and back up (be warned, it is steep). Plenty of parking near the beach but get there early in peak season. No mobile phone signal so take a change for the parking machine."
