King Charles meets West Indies cricket team ahead of England match on Wednesday
The King took the opportunity to express his care and concern following the devastation caused by Hurricane Beryl.
King Charles hosted the West Indies Test cricket team at Buckingham Palace on Saturday.
The squad was invited for an audience with His Majesty ahead of the first Test match against England at Lord’s this week.
They were joined at Buckingham Palace by High Commissioners from across the region.
England will return to Test cricket on Wednesday as they welcome the West Indies for a three-match series.
Ben Stokes' team haven't played any Test cricket since the lacklustre tour of India earlier this year, but they are back on home soil this time and will look to get back to their winning ways.

During the meeting, the King, 75, took the opportunity to express his care and concern following the devastation caused by Hurricane Beryl.
Speaking after meeting His Majesty, team Captain Kraigg Brathwaite said: “We were honoured to be invited and it was a great opportunity for the whole team to be here.
“Hurricane Beryl has been devastating but we want to make West Indians proud and put a smile on their faces during these tough times.”

On Thursday, His Majesty issued a message of condolence to the region’s people and on Friday he spoke to the island’s leaders hearing more about the situation on the ground.
The King has asked to be kept informed about the situation facing those affected by Hurricane Beryl and is likely to undertake further calls with leaders of affected countries in the coming days.
His Majesty has also made a substantial charitable donation to disaster recovery and relief efforts in the region.
King Charles has recently resumed some public duties, as he continues to be treated for cancer.
His Majesty led the Trooping the Colour celebrations in June and was joined by Queen Camilla to welcome the emperor and empress of Japan during their state visit.
Charles will deliver the King's Speech on July 17 as part of the State Opening of Parliament after the general election.
The King is also expected to undertake a tour of Australia and Samoa as part of the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting.
The 27th CHOGM is scheduled to be held in Samoa from October 21-25.
