Rich Kids Go Skint star splashes £30k on holidays for baby - but insists he isn't spoiled
Jodie Weston, 30, from London, has already spent more than £30,000 on luxury holidays this year - and has two more getaways planned with her one year old son
A lavish-living mum who graced our screens on Channel 5's Rich Holiday Poor Holiday and Rich Kids Go Skint has confessed to splashing out a whopping £30,000 on jaunts just this year.
Jodie Weston, the London-based influencer and DJ, experienced the reality TV circuit last year, claiming it taught her an "important lesson" in valuing life's simpler pleasures.
Yet, as summer heats up, the 30 year old socialite shows no signs of ditching her opulent escapades, a lifestyle her one year old son Koa is also getting accustomed to.
In 2023 alone, Jodie and Koa have jetted off to exotic St Lucia, explored Budapest, and enjoyed UK breaks in Windsor, with trips to Legoland and Chessington World of Adventures.
Their itinerary isn't slowing down either; they're gearing up for a five-star Cotswolds retreat, swiftly followed by an Italian getaway in a palatial eight-bedroom villa, setting them back a cool £10,000, reports the Mirror.
Despite the indulgence, Jodie insists her son is far from spoiled. "He's too young to know what being spoilt is, we are just enjoying the high life," she revealed to What's The Jam, boasting a hefty 216,000 Instagram followers.
With nursery on the horizon for little Koa, Jodie is keen to lap up their time together. "I also buy him a new wardrobe for each holiday, as he grows so quickly, filled with designer items and practical ones too. It's cost me about £2,000 this year, but I don't care."
"I'm a sole parent, so I obviously over compensate. But if you've got it, then flaunt it."
Jodie previously made headlines after facing criticism for spending £7,000 on a Disneyland Paris trip for her son's first birthday.
Not only does she face backlash for her lavish family expenditures, but she also endures constant trolling for taking work trips away from her young son.
She stated: "I mean, I'm a DJ and a mum, that in itself is a clash of two complete opposite lifestyles."
"But I've always lived my life as a unicorn."
"I have to travel a lot for work and I've already been to Ibiza twice this year, with Cyprus up next. People won't outright say stuff, but I've had a lot saying I'll have to give it up and pick a different career soon."
"One of my friends kept telling me this before I even gave birth. I've also been told that I'll need to make DJ videos at home with my son on my lap which is a huge no from me."
"I still have an identity, I'm the sole breadwinner and I want to continue on with my career. I go on these work trips for a maximum of three days and often, I'm juggling everything like an octopus."

While she hasn't yet taken a leisure trip without her son, she is planning a birthday trip to Las Vegas later this year.
In a dazzling show of affluence, one mother flaunts her luxurious travels, vowing to only fly first or business class. So far, she's splurged over £30,000 just this year on opulent travel, plush stays and high-end experiences.
With unabashed candour, she stated: "I'll makeup for going away without him and go to Disney world in Florida for his next birthday, too."
Embracing an extravagant lifestyle, she proclaimed, "I think we're enjoying living it large for now."
Rejecting conventionality, she declared, "Everyone who knows me, knows I don't like to live a 'normal' life."
Anticipating future plans to instil values in her child, she revealed, "When he's older, I'll take him on more farm trips around the UK to teach him some values and to appreciate everything he's got and is able to do."
Confronting criticism head-on, she recounted hearing whispers criticising her priorities: "I've heard through the grapevine that people say I should focus on just raising my child, but money doesn't grow on trees."
Assertive about her parenting style, she justified, "I'm able to spend a lot of time with him in the day, which if I was an office worker, I wouldn't be able to do."
Challenging her detractors, she insisted, "The people who judge me aren't usually parents themselves yet, so they can't really have an opinion."
Finally, she brushed off negativity, stating, "More often than not, they're just jealous of me and my ability to not conform but that's their problem, not mine."
