James Martin's fans all said the same thing after he sparked a huge reaction when he posed for a photo with BBC presenter Matt Tebbutt. Saturday Morning viewers were treated to the delightful surprise as the TV chefs appeared together at the Good Food Show, which was held at Birmingham's NEC.

The two celebrity chefs, known for hosting Saturday morning cooking shows, sent their followers into overdrive when James, 51, posted the unexpected picture on Instagram.

They both looked to be in good spirits as the ITV star captioned the post: "Good Food Show! 26 years worth of Saturday morning tv right here! Good to see you fella!"

Matt, 51, was one of the first to respond, saying: "Likewise."

The pair's reunion had fans suggesting that they were teasing a joint show together. It comes just days after James announced he is taking a break from Saturday Morning over the summer.

A social media user commented: "I love the pair of you and always have to watch one on catch-up. I wish you would do a show together."

A fan agreed: "Yes, so do I."

A third added: "Yes please. That would be fab," while a fourth added: "That’s what happens when two worlds collide…..MAGIC!"

A fifth shared: "Lovely photo."

James, who initially hosted Saturday Kitchen from 2006 to 2016, has long been a fan favourite. After leaving the BBC show, he continued to build his brand with other successful ventures, including James Martin's Saturday Morning on ITV.

Matt took over the hosting duties in 2016, and in 2021, he opened up about taking over from James.

He told The Sun: "I had covered for James for a few years already, so it wasn’t an insurmountable hurdle… but he did have a very dedicated fan base to win over. James has always been very encouraging though."

Meanwhile, James delivered an update on Saturday Morning as the chef took a short break from the programme.

The presenter wrote: "Thank you all for tuning in as we air the last show of this series before the summer break! We look forward to August and returning with more amazing guests and chefs for you! Thank you."

James Martin's Saturday Morning will return to ITV in August.
