Though we've flirted with newer brands and tried more affordable alternatives, here at Epi, we always come crawling back to Le Creuset. We cook with the Dutch ovens at work and at home, fawn over new color releases, and gift the kitchen workhorses to anyone in need of oven-to-table cookware. Read on for our staffer's favorite Le Creuset items, a.k.a. which ones fellow obsessives should own.

Covered Rectangular Casserole

"This is my go-to casserole dish for anything from mac & cheese, to Thanksgiving stuffing, to lasagna. The stoneware cooks everything evenly and cleans easily. The lid is great for keeping things warm, storing leftovers, or transporting the dish to a party." -Rhoda Boone

BUY IT: 4 Qt Covered Rectangular Stoneware Casserole, $100 from Nordstrom

Signature Skillet

"This skillet is great for searing, shallow frying, and baking things like cornbread or skillet cookies. I love the heavy bottom, which gives the pan great heat retention and promotes even browning. Luckily, it has a helper handle to make wielding the workhorse a little easier." -Rhoda Boone

BUY IT: Signature Handle Enamel Cast Iron Skillet, $170 from Nordstrom

Saucepan with Skillet Lid

"I have one of these that’s a hand-me-down from my mom, and I love it. The pot lives on my stove constantly and I use it almost every day. It’s the perfect size for oatmeal for one or two, and for making sauces, melting chocolate, and heating up leftovers. And the fact that the lid doubles as a skillet is great for NYC apartment living when space is always an issue." -Anna Stockwell

BUY IT: Multifunctional Pan, $200 from Sur La Table

Petite Pie Dish

"Individual desserts make everyone feel special, and these little pie dishes couldn’t be cuter. They are perfect for mini pies or tarts for a dinner party, or if I’m making an apple crisp for one." -Rhoda Boone

BUY IT: Petite Stoneware Pie Dish, $17 on Amazon

Raymond Loewy Skillet

"This skillet is my pick. It's too cute. So MCM (mid-century modern) and stylish. So stylish, in fact, that I don't care that it can't go in the oven. I like it for quick-cooking proteins like pork tenderloin and skirt steak." -David Tamarkin

BUY IT: Raymond Loewy Enameled Cast Iron Skillet, $300 on Amazon

Raymond Loewy Coquelle

"I like the coquelle from the same collection, too, which is basically just like the classic Dutch ovens, but better because not everybody else on the planet has one. Use it for cooking big pots of beans, braising lamb shoulder, cooking big pots of beans, and cooking big pots of beans." -David Tamarkin

BUY IT: Raymond Loewy Coquelle, $413 on Amazon

Citrus Juicer

"I'm into this citrus juicer, which is very retro but totally cute and actually very useful for juicing fruit for cocktails." -Joe Sevier

BUY IT: Citrus Juicer, $32 on Amazon

Round Dutch Oven

"It’s a classic and it’s our favorite here in the Epi test kitchen. I use mine at home for everything—making soup, boiling pasta, steaming veggies. It’s just my favorite pot." -Anna Stockwell

BUY IT: Signature 5.5 Qt Dutch Oven, $340 from Nordstrom

Cast-Iron Handle Sleeve

"I have some cloth cast-iron handle sleeves from Le Creuset that I love. They also have silicone ones that are a little easier to find—they're not quite as great as the cloth, but could still be a good addition to your list." -Joe Sevier

BUY IT: Hi-Tech Kitchen Textile Handle Mitt, $21 on Amazon
