Memoranda of Understanding
Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) explain how two or more agencies will cooperate and interact when their enforcement responsibilities overlap. MOUs involving other federal agencies must be approved by a majority of the Commissioners. The EEOC also has entered into MOUs with foreign embassies and consulates to enhance cooperation on matters involving employment discrimination against foreign nationals working in the United States.

Sets forth mechanisms for information sharing, participation in joint enforcement initiatives, and cooperation in training, to enhance affirmative enforcement of employment discrimination laws between participating state attorney general offices and the EEOC. - Memorandum of Understanding Between the General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Date issued 11/16/93
Provides procedures for processing charges pending before either the NLRB or the EEOC involving discrimination by either an employer or a union, where the issues involved may require one agency's interpretation of a statute enforced by the other agency.
