A 33-year-old Edinburgh man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged assault.

The assault is understood to have taken place outside of a premises on Dalry Road at around 12.30pm on Saturday May 11 2024.

Police Scotland had previously issued a CCTV appeal following the incident.

Officers say that a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A statement released by Police Scotland read: "Following a CCTV appeal, a 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault on Dalry Road, Edinburgh, on Saturday, 11 May, 2024.
