Eater Names Henna Bakshi as Editor of Eater Atlanta

Bakshi will oversee all of Eater Atlanta’s coverage

Eater Atlanta has a new editor in Henna Bakshi.

Bakshi comes to the position with extensive news-writing, producing, and on-camera experience, much of it courtesy of her 10 years at Atlanta’s own CNN. As a freelancer, her bylines have also appeared in Wine Enthusiast, Full Pour, Thrillist, Chowhound, Atlanta Magazine, Eater Atlanta, Eater.com, and more. She hosted her own cooking show, Around the World in $40, on HLN.

Henna also holds a Level 3 wine certification through Wine and Spirits Education Trust.

“Atlanta is a culinary haven. To cover this city through food is an honor,” said Bakshi. “Let’s bring the world to the A.”

“I’m impressed with Henna’s wide-ranging and extensive experience, and believe she shows a passionate commitment to the Atlanta food scene,” said Eater cities director Missy Frederick. “I’m excited to see the new voices she brings to Eater Atlanta.”

In her role, Baskhi will be responsible for overseeing all restaurant news and service coverage on Eater Atlanta.
