'Hopefully I'll choose wisely': Jackie 'O' Henderson reveals she's nervous about returning to dating scene... after admitting she hasn't had sex in a year following split with husband Lee

She's in no rush to start dating again, following her split from husband Lee Henderson in October last year.

But Jackie 'O' Henderson, 44, has revealed that when she does find love again, she wants it to be with the right guy.

Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O show on Tuesday, the KIIS star was asked by her co-host Kyle Sandilands what she would do if a man tried to have sex with her on the first date.

'Hopefully I'll choose wisely and it won't be that kind of guy,' she said.

'I don't care [about dating], it's fine, not even thinking about it really.'

It comes after the single mum revealed she hasn't had sex since her split from British photographer Lee, last year.

'It's been about a year!' she told Kyle Sandilands when quizzed on how long her dry spell has lasted.

Karl Stefanovic, who appeared on the show as a guest on Monday, was quick to voice his concern, asking whether she's started dating again. 

'No, no. I haven't even begun to see anyone,' Jackie said.

'Whoever gets their hands on Jackie, they're in for one hell of a night- she's stinging for it!' Kyle chuckled.  

Karl offered to help her find an eligible man to satisfy Jackie's sexual needs, but the blonde insisted she wasn't interested in a one-night stand.

'To be honest, I don't actually care [about sex and dating] right now. I'm not there yet. I'm really happy with what I'm doing now,' she said.

Jackie and British photographer Lee announced their split in October last year, and continue to amicably co-parent their eight-year-old daughter Kitty.

The radio star has since praised Kyle for being a constant support system in the wake of her broken marriage, telling The Sydney Morning Herald in May: 'He's incredibly protective of me'. 

'And sometimes when listeners phone to ask if I'm dating he tells them to get lost,' she added.
