'Sorry I'm actually at work': Amber Heard's body double Brianna Walton, 18, reveals she almost rejected Aquaman gig because she was working at Bunnings on audition day

Playing Amber Heard's body double in a blockbuster movie sounds like a dream. 

But when Brianna Walton, 18, was called by her modelling agency and asked to audition for the part in Aquaman, she was worried about losing her job at Bunnings.

In an interview with the Courier Mail on Sunday, she revealed that she almost declined the offer because she was working on the day of the audition.

'I said, sorry I'm actually at work but I will ask my manager, but it's probably a no,' Brianna, who was 17 at the time, said.

But her manager said 'yes' and within months Brianna, who had dabbled in modelling but never acted, was working alongside some of Hollywood's biggest names.

Every morning she would sit next to Amber, 32, as the pair had their hair and makeup styled identically. 

Brianna says she stepped in for the Hollywood star for over-the-shoulder shots, close ups featuring hands and scenes filmed from a distance.

She also revealed that although there is an age gap between the pair, Amber welcomed her instantly.

'This was after everything happened with Johnny Depp and some people were saying negative things about her, but I wanted to make my own opinions of her, and she always treated me with respect, and because there was such a big age gap she welcomed me and I learnt so much off her and so many talented people.'

Playing Amber's body double opened other doors for Brianna, who has now added working as an extra on Dora the Explorer and a commercial for YouFoodz to her portfolio.

And while she is currently completing her nursing degree, she says she wouldn't be so nonchalant towards any future opportunities.

'If anything came up again I would always jump at it and I am so glad I did it and went out of comfort zone and took the opportunity,' she said.
